Many Lost Souls Saved in Northwest Honduras

I lived and rented a house five years in Northwest Honduras next door to a whorehouse.  The previous owner, drug lord, got killed in a traffic accident along with most of his family.   They told me when translated meant “The gates of hell.” God has a sense of humor, doesn’t he? It was a nice house at a very low price, and the neighborhood was a rich ground for ministry.

Word of God Saves

During my moring prayer time, the Lord told me to fast and to go to a secular meeting that night at the whorehouse next door. I told the lady I was coming (I had been invited), and I asked my favorite translator to come with me, as my Spanish was not that good at that time.

Preaching the Gospel of Salvation

I ended up preaching the gospel of salvation to them, and twenty of them got saved and gave their lives to Jesus.
